Job Description
- A Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for overseeing and executing creative design projects while ensuring alignment with the brand's visual identity.
- You will oversee the design's production to ensure the designs are completed in a timely manner.
- You will also use your knowledge of design software to accomplish these responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership: Developing and pitching new design concepts, establishing design guidelines, and ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials.
- Project Management: Managing design projects from conception to completion, including setting timelines, assigning tasks, and providing creative direction to junior designers.
- Design Execution: Creating high-quality designs for various media, including print, digital, and motion graphics. This may involve illustrations, infographics, layouts, and other visual elements.
- Team Management: Mentoring and guiding junior designers, providing feedback, and fostering a creative work environment.
- Client Collaboration: Understanding client needs, translating business objectives into visual concepts, and presenting design solutions effectively.
- Industry Trends: Staying updated on design trends, software, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- An advanced diploma or degree in design is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional graphic design experience.
- Proven experience in leading design projects and working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Experience with other design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of web design principles and UX/UI best practices.
- Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) is preferred.
- Other relevant certifications (e.g., UX/UI design certifications) are a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including digital and print media.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex design projects and produce high-quality work.
