Job Summary:

  • The Group Head of Technology and Innovation will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the technological and innovation strategy across the group's subsidiary businesses, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice Chairman, the successful candidate will lead a talented team of technology professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge solutions that align with the Group's corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy:

  • Develop and execute the company's overall technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify emerging technologies and trends relevant to our industry and assess their potential impact.
  • Collaborate with senior management to prioritize technology initiatives and investments.

Innovation Leadership:

  • Lead the innovation agenda, encouraging creativity and experimentation across all levels of the organization.
  • Establish processes for ideation, evaluation, and implementation of innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, promoting agility and adaptability.

Technology Infrastructure:

  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the company's technology infrastructure.
  • Lead initiatives to modernize and optimize IT systems, networks, and architecture.
  • Implement best practices for data management, cybersecurity, and compliance.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of technology professionals, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
  • Identify training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the technology team.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, business units, and functional teams, to understand their technology needs and priorities.
  • Partner with external vendors, technology partners, and industry associations to leverage expertise and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency regarding technology initiatives and outcomes.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience (10-15 years) in a senior technology leadership role, preferably within financial services or the Fintech Industry.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing technology strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, cloud computing, and data analytics.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of translating technology trends into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Effective communicator and influencer, capable of building consensus and driving change across the organization.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value and achieving measurable outcomes.
