Job Summary:

  • As the Head of Brand Communication and Marketing for the conglomerate.
  • The individual will be responsible for leading and executing strategic branding and initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and ultimately contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization.
  • This role requires a dynamic and visionary leader who can leverage market insights, creative thinking, and innovative approaches to build and strengthen our brand presence across diverse channels and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative brand communication strategies to elevate brand awareness and perception across all relevant channels.
  • Lead the development of integrated marketing campaigns that align with the overall business objectives and drive engagement, conversion, and loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and corporate communications to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling and differentiated brand messaging and content that resonates with target audiences and reinforces the brand value proposition.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Manage the brand communication budget effectively, allocating resources to initiatives that deliver the highest ROI.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to drive performance and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support the execution of marketing initiatives and maximize results.
  • leveraging data and insights to optimize strategies and tactics.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in brand management and marketing, and recommend innovative approaches to stay ahead of the competition.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • ·Must possess broad skill in branding, brand visibility and rebranding existing institutions in other multi-industry business like our Oil and Gas and other businesses
  • Deep knowledge in managing diverse products in entertainment, oil & gas, Real Estate, financial and E-Commerce Space.
  • Must have headed a major brand and marketing company with deep understanding of experiential marketing and communication skills, product management with Telcos, Media buying agencies and top network within the ecosystem.
  • Ability to design a winning go-to-market strategy with emphasis on cultural and ethnic bias approaches considering the peculiarities of Nigeria, where one shoe does not fit all, as well as marketing strategy that would address the needs of our regional and religious bias.
  • Ability to translate the strategy to BIG wins in terms of revenue and must be able to churn out new ideas to continue to be in the bull's eye ALL the time.
  • The ideal candidate MUST be very creative, innovative and Tech Savvy.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, digital marketing platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
