RS Hunter is managed by a team of professionals who have had several years of experiencehandling the Human Resource function in a variety of industries ranging from Banking, FMCG’s, Engineering, Maritime and Aviation within Nigeria and along the West African coast and would be a good resource to any organisation looking to start up or enhance their business from the people perspective in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide BI strategies and tools.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and performance reports for financial, commercial, and operational teams.
  • Leverage data modeling, predictive analytics, and trend analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor revenue streams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contracts and billing terms.
  • Develop and maintain robust controls to prevent revenue leakage and billing errors.
  • Lead reconciliation of financial data between operational systems and accounting records.
  • Define and enforce data governance standards to ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Commercial teams to improve data collection, system integration, and reporting efficiency.
  •  Supervise the day-to-day running of the IT unit.
  • Recommend and implement relevant technological tools to enhance departmental efficiency and organizational performance.
  • Oversee cybersecurity measures and ensure data protection across all digital platforms.
  •  Approve and manage top-tier vendors for the supply of IT materials, ensuring integrity, compliance, and service quality.
  •  Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of BI analysts and revenue controllers.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
  • Communicate complex insights in a clear, actionable format to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) is an added advantage.
  • 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, revenue control, or financial analytics, ideally within the aviation or transportation sector.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and ERP/financial systems.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, financial controls, IT systems, and revenue assurance frameworks.
