Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide BI strategies and tools.
- Build and maintain dashboards and performance reports for financial, commercial, and operational teams.
- Leverage data modeling, predictive analytics, and trend analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
- Monitor revenue streams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contracts and billing terms.
- Develop and maintain robust controls to prevent revenue leakage and billing errors.
- Lead reconciliation of financial data between operational systems and accounting records.
- Define and enforce data governance standards to ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Commercial teams to improve data collection, system integration, and reporting efficiency.
- Supervise the day-to-day running of the IT unit.
- Recommend and implement relevant technological tools to enhance departmental efficiency and organizational performance.
- Oversee cybersecurity measures and ensure data protection across all digital platforms.
- Approve and manage top-tier vendors for the supply of IT materials, ensuring integrity, compliance, and service quality.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of BI analysts and revenue controllers.
- Work closely with senior leadership to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Communicate complex insights in a clear, actionable format to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) is an added advantage.
- 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, revenue control, or financial analytics, ideally within the aviation or transportation sector.
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and ERP/financial systems.
- Strong understanding of data governance, financial controls, IT systems, and revenue assurance frameworks.
