Core Job Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate the implementation of information technology and management systems support policies to enhance efficiency in business operations
- Establish and maintain operating guidelines, procedures, and standards of performance to ensure company’s information system needs and objectives are fully addressed
- Propose and coordinate the implementation of major IT development projects
- Ensure progressive development of user capabilities across the company through sound in-house IT training and hands-on support services to staff
- Develop and maintain service level agreements with vendors and ensure vendor performance
- Monitor and control the financial and operational performance of the directly managed IT functions/systems
- Define and coordinate the implementation standards for infrastructure services including the update of the intranet and other IT security-related activities
- Develop frameworks for the implementation of regular information security reviews and ensure that access controls are effective
- Ensure that all information systems available meet the needs of all business users and identify gaps or security breaches in these systems
- Lead user requirements analysis phase of application development or package acquisition projects
- Ensure provision of business continuity through scheduled maintenance and continued technical performance continued technical performance.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering
- Relevant Certifications: MCP, MCSE, CCNA, AA+, etc
- Membership of professional bodies: CPN, NCS, etc.
- 10 years in IT Management and Project Management, with experience in management of medium to large scale IT facilities.
