Job objectives:
In the heart of our operations lies a crucial need for a strategic, dynamic, and forward-thinking professional to take the helm of our Information Technology (IT) and Information Management (IM) departments. This role is not just about managing technology; it is about leading the charge in strategically leveraging IT and IM to propel our organization forward.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering state-of-the-art web and software solutions, managing a robust IT infrastructure that spans both external client-facing and internal systems, and ensuring our technological resources align with our overarching strategic objectives.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop and manage an efficient ICT department, aligning with our strategic vision and objectives.
- Craft and deploy an ICT strategy that leverages technology to deliver efficient services to clients, within budgetary constraints.
- Periodically evaluate the ICT infrastructure's current state, ensuring its alignment with organizational needs.
- Efficiently manage ICT vendors and service providers to minimize the risk of infrastructural collapse.
- Oversee the management of all ICT hardware, software, and consumables to foster seamless resource synergy.
- Provide a technological platform that underpins the strategic objectives of the organization, ensuring a synergistic approach.
- Enhance security measures to protect databases and applications from cyber threats.
- Conduct regular maintenance and ensure adequate backup and storage for organizational data.
- Swiftly address ICT complaints to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing and overseeing outsourced software development effectively.
- Lead and manage the technical team, instilling a clear structure and process within the department.
- Drive the delivery of all technology-related projects, including new: website and software developments.
Job Requirements
