Role Overview
- The Head of Content, Media & Publications will be responsible for shaping the market narrative, driving awareness, and positioning PressOne as the leading business phone system for SMEs.
- The right candidate will have a strong journalism, editorial, or media background, with experience in storytelling, publications, and audience engagement. They will own PressOne’s voice in the industry, making our solution mainstream, relatable, and an essential tool for business owners.

Key Responsibilities
Industry Positioning & Market Awareness
- Own PressOne’s voice in the market—establish a clear and dominant narrative about why SMEs need a business phone system.
- Develop and distribute high-impact content—articles, whitepapers, case studies, and reports that establish PressOne as the leader in SME communication.
- Break down complex telecom concepts into engaging and relatable stories that resonate with business owners.
- Build and maintain relationships with media houses, journalists, and key industry influencers.
Content & Thought Leadership
- Develop a content strategy that positions PressOne as the leader in “Business phone numbers for SMEs.”
- Own and manage a content publication calendar, ensuring high-quality, high-frequency content across all channels.
- Develop case studies, success stories, and customer testimonials to build credibility and trust.
- Identify and secure guest appearances on industry platforms (interviews, podcasts, conferences).
Events & Brand Engagement
- Identify key industry events that align with our target audience and ensure PressOne is a major player.
- Periodically sponsor or participate in high-impact events to boost credibility and awareness.
- Develop PressOne’s owned events, round-tables, and industry reports.
- Build partnerships with business communities, industry bodies, and media influencers.
Demand Generation & Audience Growth
- Work with Growth & Marketing teams to ensure content directly supports lead generation.
- Develop long-form content that showcases PressOne as the industry thought leader.
- Build content assets that can be repurposed for ads, sales enablement, and email campaigns.
- Execute PressOne’s PR & media strategy, ensuring constant visibility and relevance.
Key Success Metrics
Your performance will be measured by:
- Brand Awareness – Increased industry recognition & media mentions.
- Organic Growth – Growth in website traffic and inbound leads.
- Industry Influence – PressOne’s positioning as the leading provider of call solutions for businesses.
- Audience Engagement – Growth in social media, newsletter subscriptions, and audience reach.
- Media Coverage – Number of high-impact press features secured.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years experience in journalism, media, publishing, or content leadership.
- Strong editorial, storytelling, and communication skills—able to take complex ideas and make them engaging.
- Experience leading content strategy and publications at a media house, tech company, or business publication.
- Proven ability to secure media coverage and build industry credibility.
- Deep understanding of media relations, PR strategy, and audience growth.
- Data-driven mindset—can track performance and optimize content impact.
