KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Video Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and target audience, encompassing websites, blogs, videos, mobile, social media, and more.
- Video Content Creation: Write, review, edit, and publish video content, ensuring it is tailored for different platforms, such as websites, email, and social media, and adheres to SEO best practices.
- Search Engine Optimization: Leverage SEO knowledge to create content that enhances the organization's online visibility, ranking, and reputation as an industry leader.
- Multimedia Production: Oversee the development and production of various digital content formats, including video, and provide creative direction to videographers.
- Script Development: Take responsibility for script development, ensuring alignment with client needs and project feasibility.
- Video Production: Manage in-house and on-location video shoots, including lighting, shot composition, and audio, ensuring high-quality production.
- Editing: Oversee the editing and post-production process to deliver compelling and polished digital content.
- Distribution: Implement content distribution strategies and channels to maximize reach and engagement with the target audience
- Training and Supervision:Supervise, train, and provide work direction to videographers, ensuring high-quality video production.
- Technology Advancement: Stay informed about new and emerging technologies and develop strategies for their integration into the organization's content production.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 7+ years of experience in digital content production, with a focus on content strategy, SEO, and multimedia production.
- Proven expertise in creating and optimizing content for different digital platforms with examples of high performing video content.
- Strong storytelling and creative writing skills.
- Proficiency with video production, editing software, and equipment.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing trends.
- Experience in supervising and training teams.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of emerging technologies in the digital content space.
- Journalism experience is an added advantage.
