Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist who will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and implementation of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • The IT Specialist will ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems, and troubleshoot issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer systems, networks, and applications
  • Provide technical support and assistance to staff
  • Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats
  • Conduct regular system backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or changes to improve system performance
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to achieve departmental goals
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
  • Provide training and support to staff on new technologies and systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
