Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist who will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and implementation of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- The IT Specialist will ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems, and troubleshoot issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer systems, networks, and applications
- Provide technical support and assistance to staff
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Conduct regular system backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or changes to improve system performance
- Collaborate with other IT team members to achieve departmental goals
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
- Provide training and support to staff on new technologies and systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
