Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Set up and configure workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests via phone, email, or in-person.
- Maintain and manage user accounts, permissions, and system access in Active Directory and Office 365.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems and networks, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Assist in deploying software and updates across devices.
- Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions using the company’s IT ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members on infrastructure and security improvements.
- Support onboarding and offboarding of staff from an IT perspective.
- Provide assistance during technical deployments and events, including video conferencing.
- Document procedures, FAQs, and training materials for end-users.
- Proficient in Active Directory and asset inventory management
- Restaurant Automation: Setting up and configuration of POS, server, kitchen display system
- Hotel Automation: IPTV setup, configuration and integration
- Develop comprehensive training materials to ensure consistent knowledge across the technical support team.
- Monitored team performance and facilitated the necessary training programs to help maintain a high level of competence among support staff.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking.
- Experience with Active Directory, remote desktop support, and antivirus management.
- Good understanding of IT security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or CCNA.
- Familiarity with cloud-based tools such as Azure, Google Workspace, or Slack.
- Previous experience supporting users in a tech company or startup environment.
