Russell International School was established in 2010 by Mrs. Antoniette Ehizogie Nwanoneze a certified paediatric nurse and a montessori directress. She studied in Middlesex University UK, and worked in Kings College hospital as a paediatric nurse for over a decade. It started in a private property in Lekki Phase 1 and moved into its present purpose built site. Russell International School maintains the rich tradition of promoting quality childcare services and teacher-training opportunities anchored by the firm belief that the world’s future is very much dependent on our young children, we at Russell International School Lekki have a commitment to the care and growth of each child as a whole building a child’s world where learning begins. Russell International School runs a primary and secondary school. Our primary school section is divided into three distinct age groups; 0-3 years (Playgroup), 3-5 years (Nursery), 6-11 years (Primary).

Responsibilities:

  • Teach ICT and Data Processing to secondary school students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology into curriculum
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field
  • Postgraduate degree (MSc/PGDE) an advantage
  • Proven teaching experience (minimum 3 years)
  • Excellent knowledge of ICT and Data Processing curricula
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft)
  • Experience with educational software and technologies
  • Familiarity with Nigerian/British curricular
