Duties and Responsibilities
- Fills scheme of work, students’ attendance, mark sheets, psychomotor and affective domains in the diary.
- Writes lesson notes in preparation to teach.
- Uses resources to make teaching practical and interesting.
- Engages students in practical lessons and field work
- Teaches techniques for answering exam questions.
- Ensures that students write notes, do assignments, class work and projects.
- Evaluates students by tests, assignments, projects and exams.
- Administers personalized teaching for weak students.
- Trains, coaches and administers experiential learning (Sciences).
- Conducts a psychomotor assessment tests for students to assess affective behavior and social relationship skills.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- First degree in Sciences (BSc.)
- Minimum of five years post qualification experience.
- Minimum of two years’ experience handling IT Maintenance
- SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in teaching subject area
- Ability to deal with students
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Expertise in data management
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
