Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and reliable IT Administrator, who will be responsible for managing and supporting our organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the availability and performance of systems and networks. 
• This role involves maintaining hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, and implementing IT policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless connectivity and provide daily technical support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

System Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

Network Administration:

• Maintain and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ensure network security through proper configurations and regular updates.
• Implement and manage VPNs and remote access solutions.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to staff for hardware and software issues.
• Respond to help desk tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Train employees on new technologies and software applications.

Backup and Recovery:

• Implement and manage data backup solutions to prevent data loss.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
• Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and conduct regular system checks.

Compliance and Security:

• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
• Responsible for providing remote support for certain operations of the U.S. office.
• Carry out related tasks under the guidance of the IT team in China.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5-8 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role, experience with network administration and security protocols; prior experience in a large organization is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA or Huawei HCIA (Datacom or Routing & Switching)) are a plus.

Essential Skills:

• Prior experience in a cross-cultural or multinational work environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of wireless networking, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
