Job Summary
- We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Officer to support the bank’s technology operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of core banking systems, IT infrastructure, and digital platforms.
- The role will oversee system performance, digital channel integration, IT security compliance, and vendor coordination to support seamless banking operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support the Core Banking Application (CBA) to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and data integrity.
- Monitor and maintain the bank’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, firewalls, and endpoints.
- Support integration and technical oversight of digital banking channels such as mobile banking, internet banking, USSD, and ATM systems.
- Plan and implement IT projects, including system upgrades and technology deployments.
- Implement and monitor IT security policies, regulatory compliance requirements, and system audits.
- Provide IT support and helpdesk services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure service quality and SLA compliance.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT operations or systems management, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Experience managing Core Banking Applications (CBA) is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, CompTIA, PMP, or cybersecurity certifications are desirable.
