Job Summary

Our client, a leading supplier of medical diagnostic products and services in Nigeria is looking to hire an ICT Manager who would be responsible for creating and implementing an overall digital strategy and automation of the work process. In addition, be responsible for company-wide system planning, IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and effective utilization of available technology resources.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies, protocols, and standards on a broad range of ICT issues.
  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of ISN data and information systems.
  • Implement and manage the Microsoft Dynamics 365 enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, learning management system (LMS), file server and networking infrastructure, application software development, information security, instructional technologies, technical training, micro-computer installation and maintenance, and user support services.
  • Ensure that new applications and technologies are compatible with existing systems and are appropriately integrated into ISN's enterprise architecture. 
  • Ensure the prompt and effective delivery of essential administrative information technology services to various units and sub-units.
  • Conduct periodic capability assessment i.e., ensure ISN’s preparedness, timely response, and rapid recovery in the event of a cyber-attack, natural disaster, or another emergency.
  • Oversee the planning, analysis, design, and implementation of selected system-wide software applications by working with staff in respective business functions to determine requirements, achieve milestones, and deploy successful Information Services projects.
  • Maintain effective stakeholder management, especially with regard to costs, value, and risk potential of new IT projects.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team in the preparation of the annual budget, authorizing the expenditure of funds, and maintaining overall budget control of the Information Services.
  • Oversee contract negotiations with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Oversee the review, analysis, coordination, and approval of computer-related purchases and upgrades.
  • Provide staff and guests with a securely encoded identification card that can be used to access the building and record attendance.
  • Manage IT Helpdesk to effectively resolve employee day-to-day IT challenges regarding laptops, CUP, MiFi etc

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related programs.
  • Professional Certification PMP/PRINCE2 , ITIL v3/v4, MCSA, MCSE, CWNA 
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in ICT management & service delivery in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or ICT related Program.

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of process improvement, IT Project management, ITIL service management framework, training & development, network infrastructure, Systems Administration (MS365) and ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Proficiency in IT Governance & Compliance, cybersecurity & threat management.
  • In-depth understanding of vendor management, hardware diagnostics, escalation, ticket classification and prioritization.
  • Possess good leadership, Innovation, accountability skills.
  • Possess business intelligence and strategic thinking.
