- We are seeking a skilled Internal IT/Tech Support Specialist with strong GIS expertise to join our team.
- This role combines traditional IT support with geospatial technology, ensuring smooth operations across both IT systems and GIS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for staff across hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain company devices, applications, and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems promptly to minimize downtime.
- Support and manage GIS applications,
- Assist users with GIS-related tasks,software deployment.
- Monitor and maintain IT and GIS infrastructure, ensuring system reliability.
- Train staff on IT and GIS tools, creating user-friendly guides.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security, and GIS data integrity.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
- Proven experience in IT support or a related role.
- Compulsory knowledge of GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and networking basics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical staff
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco, GIS-related certifications) are a plus.
