Location: Based in Nigeria (ideally Lagos/Ibadan)
Employment Type: Fulltime/Hybrid
Budget: 500 - 600k  / Commissions on secured funding (Rate negotiable)
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday

Job Summary:

The Fundraising and Investor Relations Manager will play a critical role in supporting the CEO with all aspects of fundraising. This includes writing impact reports, mapping relevant grants and venture capital opportunities, conducting roadshows, and managing initial meetings with potential investors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, grant writing, and investor relations, with a strong understanding of the healthcare and technology sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support RxAll's growth and expansion.
  • Grant Writing: Identify, research, and write compelling grant proposals to secure funding from foundations, government agencies, and other grant-making organizations.
  • Investor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms, angel investors, and other potential investors. Prepare and deliver presentations and pitches to secure equity investments.
  • Impact Reporting: Write detailed impact reports that communicate achievements, challenges, and future plans to stakeholders and funders.
  • Roadshows: Organize and conduct fundraising roadshows, including preparing materials, scheduling meetings, and coordinating logistics.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities, investors, and market trends relevant to RxAll's mission and goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, senior management team, and other departments to align fundraising efforts with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensure all fundraising activities comply with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Fundraising Support: Collaborate with the CEO to develop fundraising strategies. Prepare documentation for fundraising efforts, including pitch decks, investor presentations, and financial summaries. Map relevant investor and funding landscape, prepare and submit applications and keep fundraising crm up to date and attend investor meetings with the CEO
  • Investor Relations: Manage communication with investors, ensuring timely and accurate updates. Coordinate investor meetings, calls, and events.
  • Competitions and Applications: Identify relevant competitions and opportunities for the CEO to participate in. Prepare and submit applications for competitions, awards, and other relevant programs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Communications, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, and investor relations, preferably within the healthcare or technology sectors.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and reports.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using fundraising databases and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and technology sectors is highly desirable.
