Job Description
- Provide first-level technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues With network connectivity and Other IT-related problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems and software.
- Assist in setting up new user accounts, workstations, and email systems.
- Maintain an inventory of hardware and software.
- Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems through regular updates and backups.
- Manage and update the Nigerian Chamber Of Shipping's website, ensuring content is current and engaging.
- Ensure timely creation of content for all Governing Council members and important stakeholders' birthdays and events
- Implement website enhancements and improvements to optimize user experience.
- Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure website security.
- Work together With the Membership and Admin Officer to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase the organization's online presence and engagement.
- Create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms (eg„ Facebook,Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Youtube).
- Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and engage With the audience.
- Design visually appealing graphics, infographics, and Other visual content for digital and print media.
- Create cornpelling written content for website and social media posts, newsletters, press releases, and Other communications.
- Collaborate With the Membership and Programs team to develop and implement content marketing strategies.
- Ensure all content aligns With the organization's brand and messaging guidelines. Hard Skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools and social media platforms.
- Commitment to the organization's mission and values.
- Strong knowledge Of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Experience managing websites, preferably With CMS platforms like WordPress and PHP.
- Skilled in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or Corel draw).
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
