Groups are formed on a self-selection basis and guided by basic social and economic indicators; whereas the group structure facilitates and provides easy access to members, the optimal utilization of the loan facility and repayment remains the primary responsibility of the individual members.
Job Description
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related problems for staff members.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and application software.
- Conduct regular updates and patches to ensure the security and optimal performance of systems.
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Provide onboarding support for new employees, including setting up computer systems and user accounts.
- Implement and monitor data backup procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of critical data.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies.
- Provide training sessions to staff on IT best practices and proper usage of technology.
- Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in cross-functional teams for IT-related projects.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with microfinance operations and systems (preferred but not mandatory).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
