Job Summary

The IT Executive provides day-to-day IT support and assists in maintaining the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure. The role requires basic knowledge of IT engineering concepts to support hardware, software, networking, and system operations, while escalating complex technical issues to senior IT or external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and basic network devices.
  • Support users with operating systems, email, MS Office, and business applications.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of network connectivity, hardware faults, and software issues.
  • Assist senior IT staff with system upgrades, server maintenance, and network setup.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, licenses, and documentation.
  • Ensure regular data backup and basic system security practices are followed.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for repairs and procurement.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of employees (system access, email setup, devices).
  • Follow IT policies and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, IT Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of IT engineering concepts such as networking, hardware components, and system architecture.
  • Working knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and common troubleshooting techniques.
  • Basic awareness of servers, firewalls, and cybersecurity principles is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and grow technical skills under supervision.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
