Job Summary

Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust framework to ensure the organization's information systems are secured, compliant with legal and regulatory requirements, and ensure optimal service delivery in the division.

Job Details

Governance and Planning:

  • Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks to ensure effective decision-making and accountability.
  • Ensure IT operations and projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Monitor and report on IT governance metrics and performance indicators.
  • Lead the development of IT strategic plans, including roadmaps and project portfolios.
  • Coordinate with business units to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and manage IT project portfolios, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify and assess IT risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Implement and maintain IT risk management frameworks and practices.
  • Tests continuity management plans and procedures to ensure they address exposure to risk and that agreed levels of continuity can be maintained.
  • Monitor and report on IT risk management activities and outcomes.
  • Provide training and support to IT staff on quality assurance, governance, and planning practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the IT department.
  • Technology Service management function which is to interact with internal stakeholders to ensure projects that were developed meets user's expectation.
  • Feedback management on internal products and services for Technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, CISA, PMP) are highly desired.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in IT Governance, and strategic planning.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing governance initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of governance methodologies and best practices.
  • Expertise in IT governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
  • Customer success specialist for technical project.

Technical Competencies:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Risk Assessment and Analysis: Understanding risk assessment frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, OCTAVE) and risk analysis methodologies.
  • Compliance Frameworks: Familiarity with various industry standards and regulatory frameworks like: NIST Cybersecurity Framework, PCIDSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System).
  • IT Governance Frameworks: Familiarity with governance frameworks like COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies) or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
  • Understanding of data protection principles and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Incident Response & Management
  • Knowledge of Change Management processes to ensure IT changes comply with security policies and have minimal impact on risk.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, operating systems, and databases to assess risk and compliance.
