Job Summary

  • The IT Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for the daily management, maintenance, and operational support of the organization’s core IT systems and network infrastructure, ensuring their availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and manage physical and virtual servers, including Active Directory and group policies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, manage VLAN configurations, and ensure consistent network availability and security.
  • Provide Level 1 and 2 support for network, server, and application issues, escalating complex incidents to vendors or senior engineers.
  • Manage IT helpdesk operations, resolve user issues within agreed SLAs, and facilitate onboarding and IT orientation for new employees.
  • Enforce IT security standards, manage access controls, deploy system updates, and conduct routine backups and recovery tests.
  • Administer and support infrastructure systems including CCTV, IP-PBX, access control, and power backup solutions (solar/inverter).
  • Coordinate with external vendors for procurement and support services, while maintaining accurate records of all IT assets.

Requirements for the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or IT Operations.
  • Critical Skill: Strong, methodical hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience managing: Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and end-user device deployment.
  • Practical experience with: IP-PBX, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.
  • Experience with IT helpdesk ticketing systems and strong customer service skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+, CCNA) are a strong advantage.
