Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Officer to support and maintain our technology infrastructure.
  • This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage daily IT operations including hardware, software, network systems, provide user support, and take responsibility for the setup and maintenance of CCTV systems used for security and production monitoring.
  • The ideal candidate will help ensure optimal system functionality and operational safety across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
IT Operations and Support:

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across departments
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, and maintain computer sytems and networks.
  • Maintain local area networks (LAN), internet connectivity, and wireless access points.
  • Oversee backup procedures, system updates, and security protocols to protect company data and systems.
  • Monitor hardware/software performance and coordinate timely maintenance or replacements.
  • Assist with ERP or inventory software used.

CCTV and Surveillance Management:

  • Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and monitoring stations.
  • Regularly inspect CCTV cameras (including those in critical areas) to ensure clear visibility and reliable recording.
  • Manage DVR/NVR systems and ensure footage is archived according to company policies.
  • Support investigations by retrieving and analyzing footage when needed by security or quality assurance teams.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for system upgrades or repairs.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a manufacturing, FCMGor industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Proficiency with IT hardware/software support, network troubleshooting, and systems administration.
  • Solid experience with CCTV systems including IP camera installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Proficiency in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems.
  • Familiarity with CCTV brands and software such as Hikvision, Dahua, or similar.
  • Understanding of IP camera systems, video management software (VMS), and network storage solutions.
