IT Officer at Changeroom

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up and drive the IT strategy of the organization
  • Design & deliver technology projects including implementation of financial technologies in an insurance setup.
  • Work closely with group technology function on common projects & responsible for great working relations with the group technology team
  • Maintain and ensure business continuity plans, along with other operations
  • Devising and setting IT policies and systems to support the implementation of set strategies
  • Lead digitization initiatives and own technology implementation of the projects
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, Printers and networks.
  • Strengthen digital skills and alignment of staff with ERP
  • Ensure security of IT systems, including data backup, antivirus protection, and access controls.
  • Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Plan and execute IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and installations.
  • Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven 7 - 10 years experience in IT support or administration.
  • Relevant Certifications are an added advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
