Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and drive the IT strategy of the organization
- Design & deliver technology projects including implementation of financial technologies in an insurance setup.
- Work closely with group technology function on common projects & responsible for great working relations with the group technology team
- Maintain and ensure business continuity plans, along with other operations
- Devising and setting IT policies and systems to support the implementation of set strategies
- Lead digitization initiatives and own technology implementation of the projects
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, Printers and networks.
- Strengthen digital skills and alignment of staff with ERP
- Ensure security of IT systems, including data backup, antivirus protection, and access controls.
- Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Plan and execute IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and installations.
- Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven 7 - 10 years experience in IT support or administration.
- Relevant Certifications are an added advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
