Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Server Operations Engineer to join our team. The candidate should have a strong background in managing and operating server infrastructure, with expertise in Azure, Hybrid Active Directory (AD), and Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will possess Microsoft certifications and have experience in ensuring high availability, security, and performance of server operations.

  • Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud-based server infrastructure, including Azure virtual machines, storage, and networking
  • Design, implement, and manage Hybrid AD environments, integrating Azure AD with on-premises AD
  • Ensure server security, compliance, and identity management, leveraging Azure Security Center and Azure AD features
  • Monitor and optimize server performance, troubleshooting issues and implementing scaling solutions as needed
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications on Azure
  • Develop and maintain documentation, playbooks, and runbooks for server operations and incident response
  • Participate in on- call rotations for24/7 server operations support
  • Stay up to date with Azure innovations, applying knowledge to improve server operations and cloud adoption
  • Implement and manage Azure cost optimization and resource utilization strategies Configure and customize Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, budget, and risks, for SharePoint projects.
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, business analysts, and IT support staff, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and clients to align project goals with business needs.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members throughout the project.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues that could impact project delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Allocate resources effectively, balancing the needs of multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with business requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and change requests.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and issue resolution plans. Implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new SharePoint features and processes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SharePoint and Power Platform features and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BE) in computer science or Information Technology
    Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (or higher)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (or higher) Microsoft Certified Solutions
  • Associate (MCSA): Windows Server (or higher)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in server operations, focus on Azure and hybrid AD
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator Associate))
  • Strong proficiency in Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Hybrid AD, and Microsoft server technologies (Windows Server, SQL Server) Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL) and incident management processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
    Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile teams
