Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Ensure timely troubleshooting of IT-related problems to minimize downtime.
- Maintain an IT help desk system for tracking and resolving user complaints.
Network & System Administration
- Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, VPNs, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Ensure network security through firewalls, antivirus software, and security protocols.
- Monitor server performance and backup critical data regularly.
- Implement and enforce IT policies to safeguard company data.
Software & Database Management
- Install, update, and manage enterprise software such as ERP, CRM, and other business applications.
- Ensure regular data backups and recovery procedures.
- Maintain user accounts, access controls, and permissions.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Implement and maintain IT security policies to prevent data breaches.
- Monitor cybersecurity threats and respond to security incidents.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry IT regulations.
IT Asset Management
- Maintain an updated inventory of IT hardware and software.
- Plan and execute IT procurement based on business needs.
- Ensure regular maintenance and upgrades of IT equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A+, CCNA, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
- 2-3 years Proven Experience as an IT personnel.
- shouldn\'t be more than 27-30
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments.
- Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).
- Experience with database management and cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to train and support non-technical users.
- Work Environment & Conditions
- Office-based role with occasional fieldwork.
- May require on-call availability for urgent IT issues.
- Requires regular interaction with all departments to support IT needs.
