Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Specialist to join our team in Benin City, Nigeria. As an IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our organization's IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.
- Manage and maintain computer systems, networks, and other IT infrastructure
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end-users
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Configure and administer various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS
- Assist in the deployment and management of cloud-based services and applications
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, including processes, procedures, and system configurations
- Monitor system performance and implement upgrades as necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS
- Solid understanding of network administration, security, and troubleshooting
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and Python
- Familiarity with IT service management and project management methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
