Job Overview
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an IT Support and Data Management Specialist.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data systems, providing technical support for hardware and networking issues, and ensuring the organization’s IT infrastructure operates smoothly.
- This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards in data accuracy and IT functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management:
- Maintain, organize, and update databases and data systems.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.
- Generate reports and analyze data as required.
Hardware Support:
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and recommend hardware upgrades when necessary.
Networking:
- Monitor and maintain the organization's network systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Ensure optimal network performance and address connectivity issues.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in data management and IT support.
- Basic hardware troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and network security.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA are an advantage.
- Experience with cloud-based systems and remote desktop applications.
