Position Overview:
- The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the overall enterprise architecture blueprint, ensuring that it aligns with the business strategy and objectives.
- This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and design scalable and efficient technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, principles, and standards.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements.
- Analyze current technology infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
- Design end-to-end solutions that meet business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption.
- Lead and mentor a team of architects and developers.
- Ensure that architectural designs are implemented according to best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful delivery of technology initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support during the implementation and integration of new systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1-3 years experience as an IT Support Engineer or a similar role. Note this is a junior role.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in system integration and API design.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
