Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support across various IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks. The role also involves managing critical IT operations such as internet access, email systems, hosting, and teleconferencing equipment, while ensuring the organization's technology infrastructure runs efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for IT issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Manage internet access, ensuring reliable connectivity and optimized performance.
  • Oversee laptop maintenance, including repairs, upgrades, and admin access control for all laptops and phones (both mobile and desktop).
  • Support and maintain teleconferencing systems, projectors, screens, and cables for meetings.
  • Manage email systems, including account setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Handle hosting management for websites, applications, domains and emails.
  • Assist with user onboarding, including accounts, and biometrics setup.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure not limited to Projectors, TV Screens, cables and dongles, etc to ensure efficient and secure operation.
  • Provide user support and guidance on best practices and IT policies.

Qualifications

  • OND / HND / BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not compulsory)
  • Proven experience in an IT support role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with Windows and/or Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
