Position Overview
- This role combines IT support, software development, and website management responsibilities.
- The successful candidate will ensure seamless IT operations, provide technical support, and manage the university’s digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to staff and students.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software.
- Develop, maintain, and update the university website and web applications.
- Manage hosting accounts, domains, and email systems.
- Implement cybersecurity measures and ensure data protection compliance.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
- Develop internal software tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain backups and disaster recovery systems.
- Provide IT training and support documentation for staff.
Requirements & Competencies
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, or similar).
- Experience in database management (MySQL or equivalent).
- Familiarity with network administration and cybersecurity practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
