Responsibilities
Technical Support:
- Respond promptly to user inquiries, providing technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, either over the phone, through email, or in person.
- Walk users through the problem-solving process, providing clear instructions and guidance.
Issue Resolution:
- Identify, research, and resolve complex technical problems in a timely manner.
- Track issues using a ticketing system and maintain accurate records of interactions and resolutions.
Network Support:
- Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity issues, both wired and wireless.
- Collaborate with network administrators to address network-related problems and configurations.
User Training and Documentation:
- Provide user training and support on new technologies, software applications, and tools.
- Create and maintain documentation for common technical issues and solutions, contributing to a knowledge base for users and colleagues.
IT Infrastructure Support:
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives, such as hardware upgrades, software deployments, and system migrations.
Security and Data Protection:
- Follow security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data and systems.
- Assist in implementing security measures, such as antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and provide solutions.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users, translating complex technical terms into user-friendly language.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor's Degrees with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
