Responsibilities

Technical Support:

  • Respond promptly to user inquiries, providing technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, either over the phone, through email, or in person.
  • Walk users through the problem-solving process, providing clear instructions and guidance.

Issue Resolution:

  • Identify, research, and resolve complex technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Track issues using a ticketing system and maintain accurate records of interactions and resolutions.

Network Support:

  • Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity issues, both wired and wireless.
  • Collaborate with network administrators to address network-related problems and configurations.

User Training and Documentation:

  • Provide user training and support on new technologies, software applications, and tools.
  • Create and maintain documentation for common technical issues and solutions, contributing to a knowledge base for users and colleagues.

IT Infrastructure Support:

  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives, such as hardware upgrades, software deployments, and system migrations.

Security and Data Protection:

  • Follow security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data and systems.
  • Assist in implementing security measures, such as antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users, translating complex technical terms into user-friendly language.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor's Degrees with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
