We are seeking a skilled IT System Control and Cybersecurity Specialist with extensive banking experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems, managing cybersecurity threats, and implementing effective control measures to protect sensitive banking information.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT system controls to ensure compliance with banking regulations and industry standards.
Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect the organization from cyber threats, including malware, phishing, and hacking attempts.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in IT systems and develop mitigation plans.
Lead the response to cybersecurity incidents, including investigation, containment, and recovery.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
Conduct training sessions for employees to raise awareness about cybersecurity best practices and policies.
Monitor IT systems for security breaches and generate reports on security incidents and compliance status.
Work closely with other departments, such as IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure a coordinated approach to cybersecurity and system control.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT system control and cybersecurity within the banking industry.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH are highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of IT system controls, cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
