Core Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
  • Resolve issues for staff via phone, in person, or electronically
  • Log bugs and enhancement requests
  • Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company
  • Perform hardware and software installations, configurations and updates as needed
  • Monitor various running applications both onsite and remote
  • Work in shift (day / night) with other team members including weekends
  • Monitor and report appropriately all runin applications
  • Provide second-level support to clients
  • Monitor, log and manage power sources

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess an OND / HND / BSc in any relevant field
  • Previous work experience in IT support for minimum of 1 year
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • In depth knowlegde of Windows Server, Windows 10, Linux (Ubuntu), Email Clients / Service etc.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to install operating systems (windows & Linux)
  • Ability to administer Windows and Linux Servers (added advantage)
  • Ability to setup and manage LAN and Wireless network
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware issues
  • Ability to perform various application and database backups
