Role Description

  • This is a full-time, on-site role for a Graphic Designer within NASCO’s Digital & Creative Projects Department, located in Jos, Nigeria.
  • The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with the digital marketing and creative teams to produce high-quality visuals across digital platforms, print materials, and product packaging.
  • You’ll play a key role in bringing creative ideas to life, maintaining consistent brand standards, and supporting the development of campaigns that reflect NASCO’s excellence and innovation.

Key RequirementsHard Skills

  • Proficiency in Design Software: Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW, Figma, and other design tools.
  • Graphic Design Principles: Solid understanding of colour theory, typography, layout, composition, and branding.
  • Digital Design: Experience designing for digital platforms (web, mobile, social media).
  • Print Design: Ability to create designs for brochures, flyers, posters, and packaging.
  • File Management & Workflow: Experience managing multiple design projects and file formats (JPEG, PNG, EPS, PDF).
  • Web & UI Design: Basic understanding of UX/UI principles is an advantage.

Soft Skills

  • Creativity: Ability to conceptualise new ideas and think outside the box.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring high-quality and accurate visual execution.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to present design ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Time Management: Capacity to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability: Openness to feedback and willingness to refine designs as needed.
  • Problem Solving: Capability to address design challenges with creative solutions.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a digital marketing or creative environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both digital and print design work.
  • Familiarity with social media design requirements and best practices.
  • Knowledge of web design and motion graphics is a plus.
