Responsibilities
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback.
- Design user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications using Figma.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Work closely with product managers to understand and translate product requirements into user-friendly designs.
- Collaborate with UX researchers to incorporate user feedback into design iterations.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma.
- Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and user-centered design.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based design.
- Basic knowledge of prototyping tools and techniques.
- Understanding of user research and usability testing methods.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
- Basic knowledge of motion design and animation is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs.
- Willingness to learn new design tools and methodologies.
- Some experience with product design projects, whether through internships, school projects, or personal projects.
- Portfolio demonstrating design process and project work.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
