  • As a Technical Engineer specializing in laptops, desktops, and AIO systems, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality, performance, and customer satisfaction of these devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on laptops, desktops, and AIO systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, software applications, and drivers on laptops, desktops, and AIO systems.
  • Perform hardware upgrades and replacements, including RAM, hard drives, processors, and graphics cards.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests on refurbished or repaired devices to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, or in-person regarding laptop, desktop, and AIO usage, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve complex technical issues and escalate unresolved problems as needed.
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements, trends, and developments in laptop, desktop, and AIO technology.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Engineer specializing in laptops, desktops, and AIO systems.
  • Solid understanding of hardware components, operating systems, and software applications relevant to laptops, desktops, and AIO systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing common issues such as hardware failures, software glitches, and system crashes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications in computer hardware repair or technical support will be an advantage.
