What we are looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in understanding and applying various video codecs and associated best practices.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects.Proficiency in Adobe Suites, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with Cinema 4D and/or 3D Max.
  • Familiarity with Z-brush, Nuke, and Maya is advantageous.
  • Vast knowledge of Production and Post-Production Workflow.
  • UI/UX experience is a desirable asset.
  • Proficiency in character animation.
  • Ability to create style frames and storyboards to develop visual style concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Must exhibit creativity, enthusiasm, and a solution-oriented approach to teamwork.

 

About the role

  • The Lead Motion Graphics Artist will work closely with the Cinematographers, Marketing team, and other key stakeholders to brainstorm and create high-quality video content that reflects the Alt School brand and ambition.
  • The Lead Motion Graphic Artist is responsible for overseeing all facets of motion design, including managing and coordinating the tasks of other Motion Graphics Artists.
  • This role entails supervision, requiring the individual to demonstrate a combination of technical expertise and soft skills to excel.

Success in this role necessitates:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient leadership and managerial capabilities.
  • Resourcefulness and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
  • Thorough understanding of timing, motivation, continuity, and related concepts.
  • Creative thinking and strong storytelling skills, coupled with creativity and originality.
  • Social perceptiveness—being aware of others' reactions and understanding the reasons behind their responses.
  • Visualization skills—the ability to imagine how something will appear after it is moved or when its components are rearranged.

What you will be doing:

  • Create motion design templates to be used for specific projects by other Motion Designers
  • Collaborate with other team members to create a design system that will shape the look and feel of the business
  • Coordinate the motion graphics team in achieving excellent visually appealing results.
  • Drive processes to meet schedules, budget, manpower, and technical quality targets.
  • Communicate effectively the goals and objectives of every project to his team members.
  • Delegates and assigns projects to the team members.
  • Perform quality checks on deliverables to ensure all creative, aesthetic, and legal requirements are met.
