Role Overview
The Video Editor will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that educates, informs, and engages our audience. This includes editing how-to videos, tutorials, training/documentation videos, product explainers, and brand storytelling content. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging visuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final videos.
- Create tutorials, training videos, and product demos aligned with Riskgratis’ brand and tone.
- Add motion graphics, captions, animations, and visual effects where needed.
- Collaborate with the content, product, and marketing teams to ensure videos align with objectives.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
- Organize and maintain video file libraries for easy reference and updates.
- Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio or sample work required).
Requirements
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
- Strong storytelling and communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging motion graphics and animations (a plus).
- Experience editing tutorial/educational content preferred.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design, pacing, and audio-visual balance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have
- Background in SaaS, ERP, or tech-related content.
- Knowledge of screen recording and software documentation videos.
- Basic sound design and audio editing skills.
