JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a 3D Lighting Artist, you will play a key role in creating the mood and atmosphere of our projects.
- You will be responsible for creating realistic lighting environments for our characters and scenes following the artistic vision of the project.
- Working closely with our team of artists and directors, you’ll transform raw 3D scenes into beautifully lit final images, matching the intended visual style while enhancing the overall visual experience.
- Your role will involve troubleshooting any lighting/rendering issues and contributing to developing lighting techniques and processes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics, Animation, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using Arnold or Redshift for lighting.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a 3D Lighting Artist, preferably within the VFX or animation industry.
- Strong understanding of colour, contrast, and lighting design.
- Knowledge of 3D modelling and texturing is a plus.
- Ability to create and maintain a consistent look, adhering to a set style.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity as a 3D Lighting Artist.
