The Role: 

  • Flutterwave is looking for a Manager, Account Configuration will be responsible for overseeing the configuration and management of client accounts to ensure seamless payment processing and optimal use of Flutterwave’s services.
  • This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills and a customer-centric approach to enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the account configuration team to set up and maintain client accounts.
  • Manage the configuration of merchant accounts including (MCC review & MID creation) according to specifications
  • Collaborate with other teams to understand and implement customer requirements
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex account configuration issues.
  • Manage and mentor a team of account configuration team members
  • Maintain accurate records of all account configuration activities
  • Lead team meetings and training to stay updated on product changes and developments
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Ensure that the Account Configuration meets team KPIs and objectives
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Required competency and skillset to be a waver:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an account management or customer service role, preferably in the payment industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
