The M & W Nuts Company is a cashew processing agri-business venture established in 2016 to add value to Nigeria’s raw cashew export aiming to serve both the domestic and export markets.

Job Summary

The Marketing and Branding Lead is responsible for driving brand visibility, product demand, and sales growth through effective digital and offline marketing strategies. The role will focus on strengthening brand presence through YouTube marketing, social media engagement, promotional campaigns, and trade marketing initiatives. The position also supports the execution of brand strategies and continuous improvement of marketing processes in line with international FMCG standards.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy and Visibility

  • Develop and implement branding strategies to increase brand awareness and market presence.
  • Ensure brand messaging, positioning, and identity are consistent across all marketing channels.
  • Monitor brand perception and recommend strategies to strengthen brand positioning.

Digital Marketing and YouTube Management

  • Lead the development and management of the company’s YouTube channel, including content planning, production, and optimization for audience engagement.
  • Manage social media platforms to increase visibility, engagement, and customer interaction.
  • Implement digital campaigns to promote products, drive traffic, and generate demand.

Marketing Campaigns and Promotions

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches.
  • Coordinate offline marketing initiatives such as in-store promotions, events, and brand activations.
  • Track and evaluate campaign performance to improve marketing effectiveness.

Trade Marketing Support

  • Work closely with the sales team to implement trade marketing initiatives that drive product demand in the market.
  • Develop promotional materials and tools to support sales and distributor activities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities.

Content Creation and Communication

  • Oversee the creation of marketing content including videos, graphics, promotional materials, and brand stories.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
  • Manage collaborations with external creatives, agencies, and influencers where necessary.

Market Intelligence and Reporting

  • Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences and emerging trends.
  • Track marketing metrics such as engagement, reach, and campaign ROI.
  • Prepare periodic reports on marketing performance and recommend improvements.

Process Improvement and Compliance

  • Support the development and improvement of marketing processes to align with international FMCG standards.
  • Ensure marketing activities comply with company policies and brand guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, branding, or digital marketing, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and YouTube content strategy.
  • Experience in executing marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Excellent communication, creative thinking, and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze marketing data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
