The Marketing & Communication Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic brand initiatives to drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty among consumers in Nigeria. This individual will play a key role in shaping the brand identity, positioning, and messaging to effectively communicate our value proposition to the target audience.
Key Responsibilities:·
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communications strategies aligned with business objectives and local market dynamics.
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including traditional media, digital platforms, social media, and events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and creative services, to develop compelling marketing collateral and messaging that resonate with the target audience.
- Manage advertising campaigns, including media planning, creative development, and performance tracking, to maximize reach and effectiveness.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders to secure press coverage and PR opportunities that elevate brand visibility and credibility.
- Oversee the development of digital marketing assets and content, including website copy, blog posts, social media posts, and email newsletters, to engage and educate consumers.
- Monitor and analyze marketing communications performance metrics, including brand awareness, website traffic, social media engagement, and PR impressions, and leverage insights to optimize strategies and tactics.
- Manage the marketing communications budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives and maximize ROI.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing communications to continually innovate and enhance our approach.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on marketing communications performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably within the consumer electronics industry or related sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing communications campaigns and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian market landscape, consumer behavior, and media landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for storytelling.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive marketing decisions.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and content management systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
