The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is one of the world's leading research partners in finding solutions for hunger, malnutrition, and poverty. Our award-winning research for development (R4D) addresses the development needs of tropical countries. We work with partners to enhance crop quality and productivity, reduce producer and consumer risks, and generate wealth from agriculture. Duites
- Conduct interviews for Institutional and official functions.
- Assist with content generation for Tiktok videos.
- Generate and write stories for the institutional newsletters (bulletin and Talking Drums).
- Provide intranet content for the web team.
- Curate posts for the IITA TV social media platforms.
- Provide communication backstopping for exhibitions, events and institutional activities.
- Generate content and produce the AgNovation series for IITA TV.
- Provide support for visitors and guests.
- Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Mass communication, Marketing, Communication and Language Arts or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.

- Have good communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking).
- Have excellent reporting skills.
- Have ability to coordinate, prioritize and organize workload.
