  • They are seeking a Programme Director in Lagos who will oversee and drive this impactful project and play a crucial role in managing program development, establishing partnerships, and ensuring the initiative achieves its transformative potential for Nigeria's future creative leaders.

Job Overview:

  • The Ideal Candidate will work in close collaboration with the CEO and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and design activities that will respond to all stakeholder’s priorities in order to further the objectives of the project.

Reporting Line: Reports to the CEO

Supervises: Team members within the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Allocate resources and supplies as to ensure staff and volunteers can complete their responsibilities to their highest potential.
  • Create programs and challenges that are as effective and efficient as possible.
  • Ensure that all implemented activities are relevant to the mission and vision of the Project.
  • Invest in building relationships, both with the outside community and with the population that the Project targets.
  • Be the public face of the Project.
  • Carry out fundraising efforts with only the highest ethical standards.
  • Identify fundraising strategies that benefit and complement the mission and vision of the Project.
  • Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships.
  • Maintain mutually beneficial ongoing relationships with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnerships.
  • Managing dashboards that facilitate the production of learner reports which includes insights on course adoption, course progress, complete learner data on the learner management system.
  • Providing regular and periodic updates on learner progress and performance, over learning programme efficiency and recommendation for improvement.
  • Manage course production cycles and curriculum improvements, including scouting and recommending course facilitators for new courses.
  • Define the strategy for the learner admissions, onboarding and transitions for each learning cycle and cohort.
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.
  • Oversee daily operations of the business unit.
  • Manage the organization’s resources.
  • Assess and minimize risks to the company.
  • Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary.
  • Negotiate agreements and contracts for the Project.
  • Manage the Project’s operating structure.
  • Leading the Charge.
  • Overseeing brainstorming sessions.
  • Manage feedback of all executions from the team.
  • Review and ensure teams’ outputs are visually appealing, functional in the marketplace and on brand.
  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging per project.
  • Evaluating team performance and guiding improvements.
  • Actively seek to resolve any concerns within your team while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior before escalating to HR.
  • Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each team member in line with their individual goal and provide constructive feedback.
  • Motivate team members to perform at their best.
  • Set clear goals and communicate that information to team members effectively.
  • Develop and lead team building exercises in line with HR policy.
  • Create a supportive team environment in line with HR policy.
  • Empower team members with the skills they need to perform optimally working closely with HR.
  • Conduct performance reviews working closely with HR.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant work experience with 4 years’ in similar industry.
  • Degree in Marketing/Business Development or Management, Msc/MBA is required.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Ability to implement strategic direction.
  • Ability to manage projects at scale Intermediate to advanced data management skills for reporting and analysis.
  • Employing strategic initiatives to keep learner experience refreshed and optimized.
  • Exposure to compliance and regulatory requirements of operating a learning programme
  • Knowledge and strong understanding of project practices, policies, processes, systems capabilities and limitations Attention to detail
  • Strong ability to communicate tactfully and effectively
  • Maintain great team spirit
  • Embody a passion for capacity building
  • Possess updated knowledge of the learning landscape in Nigeria
