Role Summary
- Reporting to the Technical Sales and Solutions Manager.
- This is a key position to own and develop the portfolio of mid/back-office solutions across CWA. Using superior leadership, technical and training skills you will guide and educate agencies to understand and successfully use the Sabre CWA mid/back-office applications, across multiple markets.
Key Tasks
- Achieve yearly pre-determined sales targets for mid/back-office solutions
- Understand agency requirements and sell our mid/back-office products
- Scope agencies about mid and back-office tasks. Design efficient workflows
- Successfully install and train users on the applications
- Provide continuous post-sales support
- Maintain strategic commercial relations with the product suppliers, work with them on enhancements and innovation
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of Mid/Back-office solutions, including product development, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product management, engineering, sales, and customer support teams, to define requirements and prioritize feature enhancements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners regarding Mid/Back-office solution inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for innovation in Mid/Back-office technology solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive the adoption and usage of Mid/Back-office solutions among Sabre CWA customer base.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and success of Mid/Back-office solutions, and regularly report on performance to the line manager.
- Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and compliance requirements related to Mid/Back-office operations in the travel industry.
- Provide training and support to internal teams and external stakeholders on Mid/Back-office solution functionality, features, and best practices in the travel industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Mid/Back-office solutions to agencies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the functionality, usability, and scalability of Mid/Back-office solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, solution consulting, or a related role in the travel technology industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Mid/Back-office operations, processes, and technology solutions in the travel agency.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing complex initiatives from conception to implementation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, clients, and partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience working with agile development methodologies and tools is a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
