Position Overview:
The MIS Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's MIS operations to ensure the efficient and effective processing of data, the integrity of information, and the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with various departments to support their information needs, ensuring system reliability, and implementing best practices in data management and IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
MIS Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement MIS strategies and plans that align with the company’s business objectives and operational requirements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for the integration of new solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
System Management:
- Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure data integrity and system security through effective data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Data Management:
- Ensure accurate and timely collection, processing, and reporting of data to support business decision-making.
- Implement data management policies and procedures to maintain data quality and integrity.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage MIS-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
Support and Training:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for MIS-related issues.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff competencies in using MIS tools and systems.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in IT and data management.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems from threats and breaches.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support career growth opportunities for team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in MIS management, IT operations, or a related role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems administration, and data management practices.
- Experience with ERP systems, database management, and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are advantageous
