Job Summary
- We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Application Tester to join our QA team in Abuja.
- The ideal candidate will have solid experience testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
- You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality mobile releases by performing manual and automated testing, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers and designers to improve app performance and usability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications.
- Conduct manual and automated testing of native and hybrid mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, usability, performance, and compatibility testing.
- Document and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, Product Managers, and UI/UX Designers.
- Ensure mobile applications meet business and technical requirements.
- Test API integrations using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Provide feedback on user experience and app functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile testing tools and technologies.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.Sc / HND in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification or other relevant QA certifications (a plus).
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile application testing.
- Strong knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems.
- Experience with testing tools like Appium, Selenium, Postman, JIRA, etc.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks is a plus.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
