The Global Grassroots Succour Initiative (GGSI) is an independent humanitarian organisation dedicated to assisting victims of natural disasters, armed conflicts, and social exclusion. Grounded in principles of solidarity, justice, human dignity, equality, respect for diversity, and coexistence, GGSI prioritises support for the most vulnerable individuals.

Responsibilities:
- Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks, plans, and indicators for projects or programs.
- Design data collection tools, surveys, and methodologies to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
- Implement data collection activities, including surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, and observations.
- Analyse data using statistical and qualitative analysis techniques to assess program performance and outcomes.
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Monitor project activities, outputs, and outcomes against established targets and benchmarks.
- Conduct field visits and assessments to verify data quality, monitor progress, and identify challenges.
- Support project teams in setting up data management systems and databases to store and analyse data.
- Provide training and capacity building to project staff and partners on monitoring and evaluation concepts and tools.
- Facilitate learning and knowledge sharing sessions to capture best practices and lessons learned from program implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and community partners, to ensure alignment of monitoring and evaluation efforts.
- Participate in program planning, review, and evaluation meetings to contribute insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, data privacy regulations, and organisational policies in monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of monitoring and evaluation methodologies and tools.
- Support organisational learning and continuous improvement efforts through feedback mechanisms and reflective practices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, international development, statistics, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation roles, preferably in the development or nonprofit sector.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation concepts, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques and tools.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts and findings effectively to diverse audiences.
- Experience with data management software, statistical analysis software, and data visualisation tools.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in multicultural settings.
