Job Summary:
- The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the monitoring and evaluation framework for BFFWH’s projects.
- This role requires an analytical thinker with experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting within the healthcare or non-profit sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans for all BFFWH projects.
- Design data collection tools and methodologies to assess project outcomes and impact.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities and ensure data accuracy.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide insights into project performance and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed M&E reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and reporting standards.
- Train and support project staff in M&E best practices and tools.
- Be ready to travel to various project sites for data collection and evaluation purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within the healthcare or NGO sector.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, management, and analysis.
- Proficiency in using statistical software and M&E tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in M&E frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex data sets.
- Experience in report writing and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in Hausa language is an added advantage.
